Reggie “Art” Gillumo is an acclaimed sculptor and visual artist known for creating emotionally resonant, textured art that bridges the gap between vision and touch. Inspired by his grandfather’s blindness, Gillumo developed a unique textured style that invites both physical and emotional engagement. Gillumo was a recipient of the Award for Excellence in Visual Arts at the 39th Annual Mayor’s Arts Awards, presented by Mayor Muriel Bowser.
